School Programs

Our learning Program is an immersive educational experience designed to encourage students to explore the values of respect, responsibility, environmental stewardship and community through a unique, curriculum-supporting learning environment.
Far more than a guided visit, the program creates opportunities for students to engage with meaningful discussions about history, faith, sustainability, personal responsibility and the importance of leaving a positive legacy for future generations.
Delivered within the peaceful surroundings of Greendale Garden Cemetery, students experience learning in an environment that encourages curiosity, reflection and thoughtful conversation. The program combines interactive presentations, guided exploration and collaborative activities to help students connect classroom learning with real-world experiences.
Students explore the importance of remembrance, dignity and the impact every individual has on their family, community and future generations.
Through guided discussion and reflection, students are encouraged to consider what legacy means and how the choices we make today influence those who come after us.
Students gain a greater understanding of burial traditions, cultural practices and the importance of treating every individual with dignity and respect.
The program encourages appreciation for different beliefs while highlighting the universal values of compassion, humility and service to others.
Greendale’s eco-friendly burial gardens provide an opportunity to explore sustainability in practice.
Students learn how responsible land management, biodiversity, native vegetation, water conservation and environmentally conscious burial practices contribute to protecting the natural environment.
The program encourages students to think about their role within their school, family and wider community.
